This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Crushed Rock/Gravel prepared in accordance with FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.1, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside with a solicitation number of 140L5723Q0063. This requirement is for providing crushed rock/gravel to the locations listed in the Statement of Need. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 212321 - Construction Sand and Gravel Mining with an Industry Size Standard of 500 employees. The Government contemplates award of a single, firm fixed price contract using "ALL or NONE" basis to the offeror who is determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9 and whose material is technically acceptable, price is lowest, and is considered fair and reasonable. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: The Salt Lake City Field Office, Bureau of Land Management, plans to contract the purchase of 7,600 Tons of crushed rock for use in constructing parking facilities at Five Mile Pass. Pit Run Material: Naturally or artificially graded mixture of natural or crushed gravel, crushed stone, and natural or crushed sand; AASHTO M145; meeting the requirements of ASTM D 1242 for Type 1 with the Gradation B Delivery will be made to: Five Mile Pass, Cedar Valley, UT 84013. Lat: 40.23602 Long: -112.16201. See attached map. BASIS FOR AWARD: This will be a Small Business set-aside Award. This will be awarded a under Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract structed with a Lowest Price Technically acceptable (LPTA) selection process.
