Vernal Field Office Recreation Sites Weed Spraying The purpose of this project is to chemically treat approximately 15 acres of recreation areas on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) managed lands. The contractor will travel to and spray herbicide within the designated areas. All of the work will take place within developed recreation sites, parking areas, boat ramps, campgrounds and trailheads. Areas not accessible by road shall be treated on foot with a backpack-type sprayer. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with a base year plus 4 option years and is a set aside 100% for small business. Work under this contract is located on BLM lands managed by the Vernal Field office located in Uintah and Daggett counties. The work locations of this project are at multiple recreation sites throughout the Vernal Field Office (VFO). These include Pelican Lake Campground and Day Use Area, McCoy Flats Trailhead, Indian Crossing Campground, Bridge Hollow Campground, Bridge Hollow Boat ramp, Historic Jarvie Ranch, Doc¿s Beach, Musket Shot Overlook, Upper dry Fork, Lower Dry Fork, and Docs Beach. There will not be a hosted site tour for this project. Vendors are encouraged to use all available resources and visit the sites for themselves to ascertain access, weed conditions, water resources, etc. Question may be directed to tbluntmayes@blm.gov.
