**Pre-Solicitation Notice** BLM-UT COTTONWOOD TRAILHEAD IMPROVEMENTS - ST GEORGE FIELD OFFICE Project Identification: BLM-UT Cottonwood Trailhead Improvements This requirement will be 100% set aside for small business under NAICS 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $39.5M or lower. Statement of Magnitude: Between $100,000 and $250,000 Project Location: Work under this contract is located on Bureau of Land Management recreation areas within the St. George Field Office, Washington County, Utah. Maps will be available when the solicitation is issued. Site Visit Information: Pre-bid site visit is set for 07/15/2020 at 9:00AM MDT. A map to the worksite will be issued within the solicitation drawings. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the project location before preparing and submitting bids. **Anticipated Period of Performance: 10/21/2020 - 12/19/2020. This project is currently unfunded, and award will not be made unless and until funding is available. Date of award is expected in mid-October 2020. Date of construction is delayed to protect the endangered desert tortoise in the area. Work consists of the following: Improvement of the Cottonwood Trailhead site within the BLM-UT St. George Field Office in Washington County, Utah. The specifications will disclose Government furnished property, including pre-fabricated vault toilet kit, bike rack, bike service station, maintenance sign, 3' Tortoise mesh, post & pole fencing material, steel step-over, and container grown plants. It is anticipated the project will be awarded under a firm fixed-price, single prime contract. Solicitation: Posting is expected approximately 14 days after posting of this notice.
