BLM-CO Southwest District (SWD) Janitorial - Amendment 1 The purpose of this amendment is to post the pre-bid site visit and the sign-in list. This visit was not mandatory, but the Government will not entertain requests for equitable adjustments for conditions you should have known about if you would have if you would have attended. This is a solicitation for janitorial services at our SWD Facilities in Montrose, CO. The resulting award is planned to be issued in March with a desired start date for services on 1 April 2024. Please monitor this site and follow the solicitation for announcements and changes. Pre-bid Site Visit: A hosted pre-bid site visit was held on Feb 6, 2024 at 09:00 and 13:00 as previously advertised. There will be no additional site visits, but an additional virtual conference has been scheduled as shown below. Pre-bid Virtual Conference: A pre-bid virtual conference has been scheduled to meet and discuss the solicitation and contract with the contracting officer and specialist on Wednesday, February 14th at 10:00 Mountain Time. If you wish to attend, pleases send your request and you will be sent a calendar invite for a MS Teams meeting. Last Date for Questions: For any formal written questions, the last date to submit is 20 February. SAM Registration: SAM registration and update requirements have significantly changed over the past two years. The DUNS number is obsolete and has transitioned to the Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), two factor authentication for log-ons were added, and the validation step has experienced many issues. Short Description of requirement: Daily and weekly cleaning of 4 buildings (two main, one warehouse, and a workshop) with a total of approximately 17,411 SF. Performance Work Statement is posted as Attachment 1. Type of Contract: Performance Based Firm Fixed Price with a Base year and 4 year options. Period of Performance - April 2024 - March 2029. Incumbent: There is currently no incumbent, but the most recent contract was 140L1720P0008 for a total contract value of $204,814.03 for three years. The final two years were not optioned by the Government due to management decisions. Since the spring of 2023, the janitorial services have been performed in house by Government personnel.
