GAOA Weaver Creek 2 Culvert Replacement This notice is posted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.213-2 Presolicitation Notices and FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Oregon State Office intends to issue a Request for Proposal for a firm fixed price construction contract for Hubbard Creek Culvert Replacement located within the vicinity of BLM Roseburg District area of responsibility located in Douglas County, Oregon. The work consists of culvert replacement at Weaver Creek; work items include but are not limited to: excavation and embankment, construct and maintain diversion during construction, construction of 215" x 140" structural plate pipe arch, construction of stream simulation materials, construction of aggregate subbase, rip rap armoring of pipe inlet and embankment, and construction of aggregate subbase surfacing. The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. The Contractor shall be required to (a)commence work under this contract within ten (10) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b)prosecute the work diligently, and (c)complete the entire work ready for use not later than ninety (90) days after the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set aside under NAICS code is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and size standard $45 million. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Buy American-Construction Materials. The basis of award will be lowest price, technically acceptable. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about February 12, 2024. The tentative anticipated period of performance is between July 2024 and October 2024. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
