The selection, marking, and tallying of leave trees will be within units proposed for commercial thin, density management, regeneration, and salvage type harvests. All marking shall be done in accordance to silvicultural marking prescriptions with specific objectives for various land use allocations. Leave tree marking shall be done with commercial forestry tree marking paint. Black mark may be necessary to adjust for changes in previous markings. This IDIQ can be used by the Coos Bay, Medford, Northwest Oregon, or Roseburg District Offices and the Klamath Falls Field Office on the Lakeview District.

The purpose of this announcement is to synopsize the upcoming release of the solicitation for Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Western Oregon Mark and Tallying Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract (BLM Western OR Mark and Tallying IDIQ) for tree marking and tallying at Western Oregon Bureau of Land Management Districts. The proposed contract type is anticipated to be a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with a five-year ordering period. The anticipated ceiling of the IDIQ is $10M. Task Orders are anticipated to be issued as firm-fixed-price. This IDIQ can be used by the Coos Bay, Medford, Northwest Oregon, or Roseburg BLM District Offices and the Klamath Falls Field Office on the BLM Lakeview District. The proposed units will include a wide range of vegetative and topographical characteristics typical of forested lands in western Oregon. The selection, marking, and tallying of leave trees will be within units proposed for commercial thin, density management, regeneration, and salvage type harvests. All marking shall be done in accordance with silvicultural marking prescriptions with specific objectives for various land use allocations. This Notice is relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 115310, Support Activities for Forestry. The Small Business size standard for NAICS 115310 is $11.5M. This will be a 100% small-business set-aside, solicitation number 140L4324R0003. This is a synopsis only for BLM Western OR Mark and Tallying IDIQ solicitation, anticipated within 15 days of this synopsis. Proposals are anticipated to be required within 30 days of solicitation posting. The timeline provided in the synopsis is subject to change and is not binding on the Government.
