BLM-CO - Pine Gulch Seed Transport and Storage - 239,475 lb. of seeds 1. This is a combined synopsis solicitation for transporting 239,475 of Government owned seed from Ely, Nevada to Grand Junction, CO in accordance with Attachment 1 - SOW. It includes a contract line for renting your trailers to be used as storage during aerial seeding operations on the Pine Gulch Fire incident. In other words, deliver the seed, drop your trailer and we will call you when it's time for pick-up. - 2. The prospective contractor shall provide all management, supervision, drivers, equipment, trucks and labor necessary to transport approximately 239,475 pounds of Government owned grass seed from the Ely, Nevada seed warehouse to Grand Junction, CO. Award selection ill be made with a Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis with a thorough review of your technical proposal to ensure acceptability. - 3. The performance period for this service is Feb 1st - March 31st 2021 dependent upon contract award, weather conditions, and seed readiness to be moved and being finished with the trailer storage. - 4. A firm-fixed priced contract is contemplated. - 5. This procurement aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 484121 with a small business size stand of $30M. - 6. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the beta.sam website frequently for any updates/amendments. - 7. All prospective contractors must be registered and active at the time of offer in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. If you have not updated SAM since October, you are advised to update early to be sure you are in complete compliance with the expanded Section 889 prohibitions on not using certain covered technology products. 8.
