BLM-CO-NWD - CRV FO - GREENHORN LOP & SCATTER - 343 acres The BLM will soon solicit bids for the project described below. At this time, this is only a presolicitation notice to generate interests and information for determination of a further set-aside. If you are interested in this project please list yourself as an interested bidder in fedconnect.gov and/or send your contact info and DUNS number to the POC. There are no bid forms or other attachments and nothing is required from you at this time. Ignore the solicitation close date. It will be changed once I have the full package ready. Abbreviated Description: The BLM Colorado River Valley Field Office (CRVFO) is seeking to reduce the risk of wildfires entering private property from BLM lands, provide for firefighter and public safety and improve ecological health in the project area. The objective of this contract is to cut down pinyon and junipers within the project areas under 6¿ diameter at breast height (dbh) to maintain the long-term reduction in wildland fuels, improve wildlife habitat and improve landscape health. The project area consists of approximately a total of 343 acres ranging in elevation from 7,000 to 9,000 feet. If you have any questions, feel free to call or email the POC.
