BLM-CO-NWD - Colorado River Valley FO - Greenhorn Water Well Drilling The BLM Colorado State Office will soon solicit bids for the requirement described below. At this time, this is only a pre-solicitation announcement with no other documents or bid forms to generate interest and to determine further set-asides beyond small business. If you are interested in bidding on this project, please list yourself as an interested bidder in fedconnect.gov and email the POC with your contact, socioeconomic and DUNS number information. Project Description: Provide all labor, equipment, supplies, materials and supervision to drill and case an approximately 400' deep water well approximately 8 miles north of Gypsum, CO (N39°43'25" W106°56'29" - Site Elevation - 8353). The well will be cased with 5" PVC 1120 (ASTM F 480). The contractor may use the drilling method of choice except for a Cable Tool. The project also includes well development and testing with a temporary pump. On-site camping will be allowed at no extra charge. The Government estimates the value of this contract to be between $25K - $100. Basic Contracting Requirements: 1. Active Registration - www.sam.gov 2. Award Basis - Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) with a heavy emphasis on the tech proposal to ensure the contractor has the necessary skills, equipment, crew and experience to perform this task. Notional Contracting Timeline - Weather Conditions Permitting 1. Presolicitation Announcement - 24 Feb 2. Solicitation Post - 6 March 3. Pre-Bid Site Visit - 20 March - 0900 - weather and road permitting - Meet at N39°39'11" W106°57'22" - North of I-70 - Exit 140 - You must have a high-clearance 4WD to access the site. 4. Solicitation Close Bid Due - 27 March 5. Source Selection and Award - 3 April 6. Period of Performance - April 27 - May 27 Please email or call me with your interest and questions.
