The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the application of contractor furnished herbicide and adjuvant on approximately 5,992 acres (total with options included) for the control of invasive and/or noxious weeds on BLM administered land, as defined on the attached maps. Application will occur in fire-impacted area. There is no ground contact allowed within the area due to lack of cultural clearance. Base Area: 3155 acres Option 1: 647 acres Option 2: 807 acres Option 3: 988 acres Option 4: 395 acres Total: 5,992 acres Note: Option years will be exercised subject to availability of funds. All, some, or none of the option areas may be awarded at the time of award. Project areas are in the BLM Battle Mountain District, Lander County, NV. The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable and the appropriate SCA Wage Decisions are included. NAICS: 115310 Size Standard: $8.0M, 100% Set-Aside for Total Small Business under the 115310 NAICS code for Support Activities for Forestry. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract. An organized site visit is NOT scheduled. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. IN NO EVENT SHALL FAILURE TO INSPECT THE SITE CONSTITUTE GROUNDS FOR A CLAIM AFTER CONTRACT AWARD IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Period of performance is estimated and based on weather and ground conditions. It is expected that the selected contractor will be available immediately following award and can start the project as soon as possible following award.
