The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the application of contractor furnished herbicide and adjuvant on approximately 1,050 acres for the control of invasive and/or noxious weeds on BLM administered land, as defined in the Statement of Work and attached maps. Portion of the project encompasses very rough terrain and steep slopes. Project areas are in the BLM Southern Nevada District, Clark County, NV. The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable and the appropriate SCA Wage Decisions are included. NAICS: 115310 Size Standard: $8.0M, 100% Set-Aside for Total Small Business under the 115310 NAICS code for Support Activities for Forestry. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract. An organized site visit is NOT scheduled. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. IN NO EVENT SHALL FAILURE TO INSPECT THE SITE CONSTITUTE GROUNDS FOR A CLAIM AFTER CONTRACT AWARD IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Period of performance is estimated and based on weather and ground conditions. It is expected that the selected contractor will be available immediately following award and can start the project as soon as possible following award. The projected period of performance is from 09/28/2020 - 03/31/2021.
