MASTICATION - BLM ELY DISTRICT The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the mastication of pinyon pine and juniper from 350 acres (Units 1-3). There may be up to an additional 72 acres (Units 4 and 5) indicated as an option area that would be awarded subject to available funding. The service requested is the mastication or grinding of whole tree biomass. All pinyon pine and juniper (regardless of size) will be removed while leaving and not damaging any other species including mountain mahogany and service berry. Project area is in the BLM Ely District, White Pine County, NV. The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable and the appropriate SCA Wage Decision is attached NAICS: 115310 Size Standard: $20.5M, 100% Set-Aside for Total Small Business under the 115310 NAICS code for Support Activities for Forestry, Fuels Management Services. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract.
