AERIAL MULCH APPLICATION - MARTIN FIRE, WINNEMUCCA NV The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the aerial application of contractor furnished mulch on approximately 150 acres of the Martin Fire location. The project site is in the BLM Winnemucca District, within Humboldt County NV. The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable and the appropriate SCA Wage Decision is attached. See attached Statement of Work and Maps. NAICS: 115310 Size Standard: $7.5M, 100% Set-Aside for Total Small Business under the 115310 NAICS code for Support Activities for Forestry. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price contract. An organized site visit is NOT scheduled. Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the sites where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions and density estimates that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. IN NO EVENT SHALL FAILURE TO INSPECT THE SITE CONSTITUTE GROUNDS FOR A CLAIM AFTER CONTRACT AWARD IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Period of performance is estimated and based on weather and ground conditions. It is expected that the selected contractor will be available immediately following award and can start the project as soon as weather and ground conditions allow.
