The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming Buffalo and Newcastle Field Offices seeks a small-business contractor for manual lop-and-scatter fuels reduction, conifer encroachment treatment, and grassland/sagebrush steppe and wildlife habitat improvement on approximately 5,028 acres. Work is divided among North Buffalo Creek (1,566 acres, 18 miles northeast of Leiter, Sheridan County, WY), North Windmill Creek (618 acres, 25 miles southeast of Leiter, Campbell County, WY), and Buck Draw (2,844 acres, about 10 miles south of Moorcroft, WY). The contract will be a firm fixed-price award using lowest price technically acceptable selection, requiring demonstrated technical capability/capacity, satisfactory past performance, two relevant similar projects from the past five years, and pricing. The period of performance is December 1, 2026 through August 15, 2027. Pre-bid meetings for each area will be offered as detailed in the PWS; attendance is encouraged but not required, and interested attendees must contact the PIs at least 36 hours before the scheduled meeting.
