This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 140L3724Q0066 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. This is a total small business set-aside. NAICS 333120 - Construction Machinery Manufacturing with an associated small business size standard of 1,250 employees. Product Service Code (PSC) 3830 - Truck and Tractor Attachments. The resulting purchase order will be a firm fixed price type contract. Line Item 0010 - Drum Mulcher The mulcher attachment for the BLM CAT 299D2 skid steer must meet the following specifications. Compatible with CAT 299D2 skid steer. Overall width equal to 74" Working width equal to 62" Length equal to 53" Overall height equal to 58" Weigh between 2900 and 3000 lbs. Polychain belt drive method. Axial Piston Dual Speed motor. High Flow XPS hydraulics. Optimal hydraulic flow of 31-33 gpm Optimal hydraulic pressure of 2900-4061 psi. Drum speed range of 2100-2400 RPM. 34 fixed teeth per drum. Carbide or carbide surface rock (preferred) resistant teeth. Cutting diameter of 8" 4" cutting depth. Carbide/rock resistant teeth. MUST include specifications for product at the time of quote. Total price includes all applicable fees and taxes. FOB Destination (Farmington, NM). In accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 12 and 13, RFQ 140L3724Q0066 is available for viewing through electronic commerce via Bureau of Land Management's website at https://sam.gov/ The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. Specifications Anticipated Delivery Date. Quotes are due Wednesday, April 10, 2024, by 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Contractors submit quotes by e-mail to awhetham@blm.gov.
