Invoices must be submitted through the IPP website (https://www.ipp.gov). Q2. What equipment are we able to use for this project? A2. Chainsaws and handsaws. No mechanized equipment (masticators, mulchers, etc) may be used. Per the SOW mechanized equipment may not be used in the project area and vehicles traveling to the work site will have to remain on existing roads. Q3. What will the government be providing in terms of flaggers, traffic control, portable restrooms? A3. The contractor will need to provide these things. The location is remote and there should not be much traffic control needed. Q4. What are the insurance requirements? A4. We are not sure what kind of insurance this is asking about. Vendors must have any unemployment or workers compensation insurance that is required by law. For vehicle or other liability insurance vendors need whatever insurance is required in the commercial marketplace for fuels reduction services. Q5. Will we be mulching on site or will they need to bring the trucks to a landfill/dump station? A5. Per the SOW felled trees are to be lopped and scattered on site. The SOW does not include mulching.
