The property was listed on the National Record of Historic Places in 2022. The McMaster Long Barn, which was built somewhere between 1910 and 1920, and has recently been subject to racking and listing. There is observable structural distress and a need to stabilize the barn from further movement. The BLM is requesting a contractor with specialization in Historic Preservation to complete the stabilization efforts. PROCUREMENT OVERVIEW TYPE OF CONTRACT: Construction, Firm Fixed Priced (FFP), Single Award Contract TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Building NAICS CODE: 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Currently, we have a draft statement of work. The contractor will be required to provide proof of historical preservation certifications and past performance examples showing proficiency in the work requested. The contractor will be expected to work on a consolidated timeline, in conjunction with the BLM archaeologist and engineer, and remove all waste and debris from the project area after stabilization efforts have been completed.
