TOOKE LIVESTOCK FENCE REMOVAL-INSTALL: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) office in Miles City, Montana has a requirement to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to remove an existing livestock fence and construct a new livestock fence. The fence removal is approximately 3,250 rods of woven wire and fire wire fence and the construction is approximately 3,026 rods of new 4-wire fence with all steel line posts. Specifications, maps, and drawings will be posted with the solicitation. The solicitation is anticipated to be posted on/about March 3, 2023. Response date for the quotes will be on/about April 3, 2023. Work under this contract location is in Carter County, Montana Work is anticipated to start in April 2023 or as soon as weather is conducive to work. Contractor shall have 115 days from Notice to Proceed to complete the project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is 16.5 million. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $250,000. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $35,000. Payment protection shall be due within 10 days upon notification of our intent to make award. A Payment Bond shall be required for contracts greater than $150K. Prospective contractors shall be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database or failure to submit all required quote information as identified in the upcoming solicitation may make a quoter ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.sam.gov. All questions regarding this requirement must be submitted in writing to rundlin@blm.gov at least seven business days before closing. No other individuals are designated to take questions. An organized site tour will be scheduled. The date, time, location will be posted with the solicitation.
