This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number 140L2222Q0024 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with an open date of July 29, 2022, and close date of August 29, 2022. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2022-06. This is a total small business set aside under NAICS 115112 and a size standard of $8.00. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Albuquerque District Office, has a requirement in soliciting quotations on a competitive basis for qualified vendors to enter a firm fixed price contract for aerial application of herbicide. The Government requires to restore native rangeland, riparian, and disturbed areas back to a healthy condition. Work will involve aerial application of herbicide for control of the identified target species. Herbicide shall be contractor supplied as identified in the bid schedule. Please provide reasonable pricing for the aerial application of herbicide. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable under this synopsis/solicitation: 52.212.1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, and can be downloaded as full text at https://www.acquisition.gov/. The Government intends to award the contract to a responsible party whose proposal is responsive to the solicitation process for the end-product service of aerially applying pelleted herbicide which provides ¿Best Value to the Government¿ on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Offerors must be registered in the System for Awards Management (beta.SAM.gov) database in order to do business with the Federal Government and be considered for award. The database can be accessed at http://www.sam.gov. The solicitation is available electronically at beta.Sam.gov. Questions to solicitation are due by 4:30 PM on August 22 2022. Offers are being accepted via electronic mail to etippeco@blm.gov. Offers are to be submitted via company letterhead, referencing this RFQ and are due no later than 4:30 PM on August 29, 2022.
