This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an RFQ for survey services in accordance With Attachment 1- SOW BLM GFO OWL MAPPING, Attachment 2- SOW BLM GFO OWL ACOUSTICS ANALYSIS, and the Contract Line Items below. While this is a competitive Total Small Business Set-Aside, we welcome and encourage vendors from all socio-economic sub-categories such as WOSB, Disadvantaged Small Business, SDVOSB, 8a, HUBZone and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises to consider submitting a proposal. Project: Contractor is expected to use detection canine(s) to conduct non-specific owl pellet surveys to locate owl pellets in an area that includes the North Powderhorn Forest Health and Fuels Reduction Project. The contractor shall provide: (1) analysis of acoustic data to determine probable presence of six potential owl species and (2) provide a summary report. If one contractor can not self-perform or sub-contract the both items, the Government may at its discretion award two separate contracts, but preference will be for one.
