(1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). This contract between the Bureau of Land Management and Westrux International: ¿ Specific services required to return E-7400 to operational and incident-ready condition include a complete engine overhaul on the cylinder head. A Determination to Solicit from a Limited Source has been prepared in support of this acquisition and is attached to this Notice. This procurement was awarded using FAR Part 13 on February 14, 2025.
