The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole-source procurement (under FAR authority 6.302-5) to the Sheriff of Kern County in the State of California for the purpose of having law enforcement enforce State and Local laws by providing support services at BLM public lands within the Kern River Valley to include the Keyesville Special Recreation Management Area, Erskine Creek, Kelso Valley, and other dispersed areas. Services requested may consist of radio dispatching, patrols, sending air units when requested, assistance with warrant service, marijuana eradication, teletypes inputs, removal of stolen vehicles/warrants/missing persons.
