FDO (FAIRBANKS DISTRICT OFFICE) ROOF REPAIR. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a construction requirement for all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to replace a roof on the BLM FDO, 222 University Avenue, Fairbanks, Alaska. Subject work shall include all associated operations necessary to remove and replace existing 8,000 square foot EPDM ballasted roof on BLM FDO Admin building. This also includes removing and reinstalling existing rooftop safety rail system and solar voltaic panels, and the demolition of approximately 200 sq. ft. of sidewalk on the north side of the building which will be replaced by topsoil and rip rap. This may include repairs to the existing poly membrane if such repairs are found to be warranted once partial or total roof removal is accomplished. The entire project includes all required mobilization and demobilization efforts to include preparatory work and operations, movement of personnel, equipment, supplies and incidentals to the project site.
