Inactive Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

This amendment provides responses to vendor questions for the contract. The existing in-house Excel database, containing approximately 3,000 entries, will remain the main curated source, with roughly 400 new samples added per year, though the annual count varies. Most genotyping is performed at the USGS Western Fisheries Research Center, with some data from partner agencies, using PCR and Sanger or NGS sequencing focused on a 303-nucleotide mid-G region. Future development of a new long-term database system is desirable but outside the financial scope of this contract. Staff training would be provided as needed for approximately two individuals.
