B--SHAKEALERT PRODUCTION CODE REVIEW
This amended Sources Sought/RFI seeks capability statements from qualified firms for an independent code review and software development pipeline modernization of the ShakeAlert Earthquake Early Warning Production System, conducted by the USGS Earthquake Science Center. The objective is to improve reliability, maintainability, and long-term sustainability of the ShakeAlert production code base through a rigorous module-by-module source code review and an assessment of current software development and deployment practices, with concrete recommendations for modernizing the CI/CD pipeline and GitLab workflow. Interested vendors must submit capability statements and a general approach/solution for all tasks: Task 1 Production Code Review and Task 2 Software Development Practices and CI/CD Pipeline. Submissions should include applicable socioeconomic designation, business size standard, SAM UEI, GSA contract number if applicable, and ability to execute all tasks, and must be submitted electronically in PDF to the listed points of contact; general marketing information is not responsive. This RFI is for market research only, does not commit the Government to contract, will not pay response costs or provide feedback, and requirements may change before a final RFP/RFQ.
