45--CALCIUM THIOSULPHATE INJECTION SYSTEM
This is a pump skid procurement to replace an existing sulfur dioxide gas dechlorination system. The new skid will inject liquid calcium thiosulfate (30% w/v) into an existing 1/2" Schedule 80 PVC carrier line that discharges into a process water culvert/mixing basin, serving dechlorination of laboratory lake process water. No drawings, specifications, or P&IDs are available; the Statement of Need is the governing document, and no site walk is offered. Supplemental process data for pump sizing is provided, including process water flow of 125–250 GPM with chlorine residual up to approximately 3 ppm, and estimated CaTS dosing duty of approximately 0.10–0.23 GPH. Offerors must provide a new injection assembly compatible with liquid CaTS, as existing SO2 injection hardware shall not be reused.
