RADIO RELAY SITE BATTERY UPGRADE This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) 140G0325Q0157. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-04 dated 06/11/2025. This requirement is not set-aside small business. NAICS: 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing, and associated size standard 1,000 apply to this announcement. Delivery Address: USGS, 350 N Akron Road, Building 19, Moffett Field, CA 94035. Delivery date for estimate only: ASAP or before 09/30/2025. FOB destination requested. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be based on a lowest price technically acceptable method. Each offeror must submit sufficient documentation for the USGS to evaluate in order to determine technical acceptability of their offer. Equipment Requirement: New equipment ONLY, NO grey market or refurbished products. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. USGS is tax-exempt. Offerors must submit sufficient documentation to demonstrate their capability to perform the required services. RADIO RELAY SITE BATTERY UPGRADE SOURCES SOUGHT The US Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified businesses capable of providing 12V batteries and accessories including rack, battery and trays as described in the attached Technical Specifications. This sources sought announcement is not a request for quote or proposal and the Government is not committed to award of a purchase order or contract pursuant to this announcement. The information resulting from this market research is simply for planning purposes to assist the Government in determining its acquisition strategy. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this notice.
