This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) 140G0325Q0146. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-04 dated 06/11/2025. Place of Performance: Washington Water Science Center Field Services Facility, 8914 Lakeview Avenue SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. Period of Performance are estimates only: 07/15/2025 to 07/14/2026. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be based on tradeoff method. MOBILE SECURITY SERVICES WAWSC WAREHOUSE SOURCES SOUGHT The US Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified businesses capable of providing mobile security services for the Washington Water Science Center warehouse including installation of two systems and real time alert and notification to USGS contacts and law enforcement as described in the attached Statement of Work. This sources sought announcement is not a request for quote or proposal and the Government is not committed to award of a purchase order or contract pursuant to this announcement. The information resulting from this market research is simply for planning purposes to assist the Government in determining its acquisition strategy. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this notice.
