The purpose of this amendment is to correct dates within the context of this solicitation. The following changes have been made. Due date for questions has been changed from May 8th to May 13th. Time of 3:00pm ED remains unchanged. Due date for quotations has been changed from May 14th to May 19th. Time of 3:00pm ED remains unchanged. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for a Brand Name or Equal firm fixed price purchase order for various construction supplies for well groundwater monitoring sites. The proposed action will be awarded in accordance with FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm fixed price commercial service contract is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is 140G0325Q0095 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03, effective January 17, 2025. Please see solicitation with CLINS, technical specifications, provisions, and clauses. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted to the Contracting Officer by 3:00pm ED on May 13, 2025. Quotations are due no later than 3:00pm ED on May 19, 2025. The Government anticipates award of a commercial, Firm-Fixed Price type purchase order on or about May 26, 2025. NOTE: All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary - the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Materials submitted to the Government for review will not be returned. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to check back periodically for any amendments to the synopsis or solicitation. All amendments must be signed and included when the quote is submitted. All contractors must be registered and have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submitting a quote to be considered for an award of a federal contract. For information, review the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326122 Plastics Pipe and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing with the associated small business size standard 750 employees. NOTE: All interested parties shall submit their quotes directly to the contracting officer via email. Quotes submitted by any other means will not be accepted or considered.
