No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought announcement. The United States Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants is soliciting information from qualified sources; the results of this announcement will be evaluated to determine if there are businesses capable of supplying these goods. The US Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants seeks responses from vendors that possess the capability to supply a Borehole Geophysical Nuclear Magnetic Resonance tool. The USGS currently lost a Vista Clara Javelin tool down hole. We require a unit to be compatible with current system components (Javelin surface station and Vista Clara data acquisition and derivation software). Minimum specifications for tool are: Multiple depths of investigations to include 12, 13.5 and 15 inches. Vertical resolution 16in, small 3.5¿ diameter and pressure rated up to 1700psi. Surface station and other components allow interchanging of tools (USGS has several Javelin tools with varying diameters, depth capacities and investigation radius¿). Must work on a 4 conductor wireline system. Must be compatible with current system components, Javelin surface station and Vista Clara data acquisition and derivation software. Interested parties should submit a Capability Statement to the Contracting Officer, Charlan Fejarang at cjfejarang@usgs.gov by the due date, Friday, May 17, 2024.
