The Department of the Interior (DOI), United States Geological Survey (USGS), Pacific Island Ecosystems Research Center (PIERC) requires Janitorial Services for Kilauea Field Station. Set aside for small businesses. The anticipated award will be for a Firm, Fixed Price purchase order with an estimated start date of 06/10/2024. The solicitation package will include the Solicitation Forms (SF1449), Statement of Work, Performance Requirements Summary and other attachments as required. Documents will be posted to Solicitation 140G0324Q0168 and will be made available through SAM.gov on or about May 22, 2024, IAW FAR 5.102(a)(1). We intend to award a single purchase order for 1 Base Year and 4 Option Years as described above in accordance with the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13.5 (Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items). This notice and any resulting solicitation or contract conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2024-04, effective 1 May 2024. Prospective contractors are not required to respond to this pre-solicitation notice. Direct all questions or concerns to the Contracting POC at cjfejarang@usgs.gov.
