No additional questions will be accepted. The quotes due date remained the same, 1/25/2024 1500PST. Contractors are required to sign and return copies to the issuing agency. Q: Will the samples be collected solely from an estuary, or will there also be collections from other bodies of water? A: All samples are from the San Francisco Estuary (Bay-Delta) system and from Rodeo Lagoon. Q: Will the samples be hand delivered (if subcontractor is local to the USGS CAWSC) or will they be FedEx overnighted, FOB destination? A: We would FedEx overnight to the analytical lab. Q: Is microscopy photography required, with identification? A: Microscopy photographs are not part of this contract. Q: Is qPCR required? A: qPCR is not part of this contract. Q: Do the nutrients in the water need to be measured? A: No nutrient analysis is not part of this contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) 140G0324Q0047. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-06 dated 12/04/2023. NAICS: 541380: Testing Laboratory, $16.5 Million. Place of Performance: Vendor's facility. Period of Performance are estimates only: 02/15/2024 to 02/14/2025 and one Option Year period, subject for availability of funds and continuing needs.
