No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought announcement. The United States Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants is soliciting information from qualified sources; the results of this announcement will be evaluated to determine if there are businesses capable of supplying these goods. The US Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants seeks responses from vendors that possess the capability to supply portable, low-power dataloggers for the purposes of volcano and landslides monitoring. These dataloggers will be part of portable instrumentation sets that will be backpacked to distant remote locations. Light-weight and low power componentry is required. The dataloggers must meet the following minimum specifications: 1. Data retrieval - USB3.0 2. Power Consumption - < 250mW 3. Configurable, sensor comms via wireless connectivity 4. Internal 32GB memory 5. 128GB data storage 6. Internal GNSS with option for external GNSS 7. Voltage, nominal 12VDC 8. Reverse power protection 9. Weight <=1.5 lb. 10. Size (volume) <=100 cu.in 11. IP68 rating for prolonged water immersion 12. GNSS: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS constellation accessibility 13. Minimum of 4 recording channels Accompanying Li-ion battery pack: 14. Minimum 15 day run time w/ accompanying digitizer 15. IP68 rating for prolonged water immersion All items above: 16. Product must be in current production and have an established, proven, and acceptable performance history. 17. This acquisition is directed at existing products only, not at product modifications, design, and development; products that have been modified or newly developed solely to meet the requirements of this acquisition are not acceptable.
