This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04, effective 02 June 2023. This acquisition is full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 541990, "All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services", with an associated size standard of $19.5 million annually. SPECIFICATION The U.S. Geological Survey, Earthquake Science Center requires a six-month system service of a fiber optic Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) interrogator with associated processing hardware. The system will be deployed on a shore-based cable on the San Andreas Fault Observatory at Depth (SAFOD) to record seismic data and monitor for earthquakes. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS/PROPOSALS Quotations/Proposals shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at nlushenko@usgs.gov.
