RIGTENDER-STYLE WATER TRUCK COMPONENT REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-02, effective 03/16/2023. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Business. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey, Research Drilling Program in Las Vegas, NV, requires a Rigtender-Syle Water Truck as described in the attached Salient Characteristics. USGS personnel will bring the truck to the selected vendor for installation. For this reason, vendor location will be considered when making the source selection. RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333924 (Industrial Truck, Tractor Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer, and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing) and associated size standard of 750 employees applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code 2590 (Miscellaneous Vehicular Components). All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 05/23/2023 at 1000 PDT. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 05/26/2023 at 1000 PDT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Salient Characteristics (see Attachment). This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary, and is to include the vendor Unique Entity Identification (UEI) number and the country of manufacture. All interested parties must be registered and have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submitting a quote to be considered for an award of a federal contract.
