JANITORIAL SERVICES REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-02, effective 03/16/2023. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Businesses. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey, Klamath Falls Field Station, requires Janitorial Services as described in the attached Statement of Work. The USGS requires a base year and four options. SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS All services will be performed at the USGS - Klamath Falls Field Station in Klamath Falls, OR. There will be a site visit on 04/17/2023 at 1000 PDT. Attendance is not required but strongly encouraged. RSVP to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561720 - Janitorial Services, and associated size standard $22.5 million applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code S201 - Housekeeping-Custodial Janitorial. This service is subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Wage Determinations. All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 04/18/2023 at 1000 PDT. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 04/21/2023 at 0700 PDT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Statement of Work (see Attachment).
