This is a Request For Information This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought announcement. The United States Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants is soliciting information from qualified sources; the results of this announcement will be evaluated to determine if there are businesses capable of fulfilling this requirement. Description of Product or Service Required: The USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatories (HVO) has a requirement for Enhanced IP Data Service (EIPDS), VoIP phone service and Datacenter at various USGS Hawaiian Co-locations. The USGS seeks vendors that can deliver Telecommunication services via fiber infrastructure for a reliable connection to all the co-locations. Most importantly the interested vendor shall have an Inter- Island network to deliver high speeds (EIPDS) Services that will provide circuits to the following HVO facilities: 1. Hilo Ironworks -(1266 Kamehameha Ave.) 2. Milo St Warehouse -(16-665 Milo St) 3. Kawaihae Datacenter (KDC) (62-3589 Queen Kaahumanu Hwy) 4. Uwekahuna Radio Room -(51 Crater Rim Dr.) 5. Volcano National Park AT&T Cell Site (HAVO)(1 Crater Rim Drive) A. Technical Requirements. HVOs requirement for Metro Area Network infrastructure consists of the following technical requirements at each of the listed locations: 1. Hilo Ironworks (1266 Kamehameha Ave.) a. EIPDS Ethernet 100 Mbps 2. Milo St Warehouse (16-665 Milo St) a. EIPDS Ethernet 50 Mbps 3. Kawaihae Datacenter (KDC) 62-3589 Queen Kaahumanu Hwy a. EIPDS Ethernet 100 Mbps 4. Uwekahuna Radio Room (51 Crater Rim Dr.) a. EIPDS Ethernet 5 Mbps 5. Volcano National Park AT&T Cell Site (HAVO), (1 Crater Rim Drive) a. EIPDS Ethernet 5 Mbps Capability statements shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to vnuno@usgs.gov.
