This is a Request For Information - This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought announcement. The United States Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants is soliciting information from qualified sources; the results of this announcement will be evaluated to determine if there are businesses capable of performing the proposed work. The US Geological Survey, Office of Acquisition and Grants seeks responses from vendors that possess the capability to supply a Wi-Fi electrical resistivity imaging system and inversion software to support earth science research. The unit and software should have the ability to seamlessly stitch surveys along a transect, and true 3-D time series inversion. These are features essential for our proposed research needs including the seasonal characterization of shallow groundwater flow across hillslope networks and large landslides. The manufacturer should offer unlimited support and training including courses on using their proprietary inversion software. Interested parties should submit a Capability Statement to the Contracting Officer, Charlan Fejarang at cjfejarang@usgs.gov by the due date, Monday, March 13, 2023.
