WILDLIFE TRACKING LOGGERS REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-01 effective 12/30/2022. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Business. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey, Western Ecological Research Center - Dixon Field Station, requires Wildlife Tracking Loggers as described in the attached Salient Characteristics. Proposals must be submitted FOB Destination shipping to Dixon, CA 98620. RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, and associated size standard 1250 employees applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code 7G22; It And Telecom - Network: Satellite And Rf Communications Products. All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 03/01/2023 at 0600 PST. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 03/03/2023 at 0600 PST. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Salient Characteristics (see Attachment). This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary, and is to include the country of manufacture.
