HVAC MONITOR SYSTEM REPLACEMENT BOISE, ID INTRODUCTION This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06, effective 05/26/2022. This acquisition is available for full and open competition. All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 07/15/2022 at 0600 PDT. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey - Idaho Water Science Center (Boise, ID) requires the replacement of a proprietary environmental monitoring and control system installed in two buildings. The Government seeks competitive firm fixed price quotes to meet or exceed the minimum technical specifications as described in the attached Statement of Work. It is highly recommended that prospective offerors attend the Site Visit (see details in the attachment). RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) and associated size standard $16.5 million, apply to this announcement, along with Product Service Code M1NB (Operation of Heating and Cooling Plants). Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 07/19/2022 at 0600 PDT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerors are to include a technical description of the services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors as seen in the Attachment. This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary.
