SYNOPSIS FIELD OFFICE REMODEL The Department of Interior, US Geological Survey - Sacramento Field Office in Sacramento, CA has a requirement for a contractor to dismantle and remodel an office space used for preparation of field instruments and standards. This will involve removal and installation of approximately 200 ft3 of upper and lower cabinets, 270 ft2 of flooring, new sink, taps, plumbing of a water filtration system, countertop eyewash station, ice machine and drainage. Painting of the space is also required. The USGS contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract utilizing construction acquisition procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 36. The anticipated contract duration is 120 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation, as a Request for Quotation, including a detailed statement of work and source selection criteria, will be available no sooner than the week of 06/06/2022. The solicitation is not available for release at this time. A site visit is planned; the date and time will be identified in the forthcoming solicitation. The associated small business size standard is $16.5M in average annual revenue. This immediate acquisition is set aside for participation by small business concerns (total small business set-aside); there is no incumbent small business contractor.
