Please provide a firm, fixed price quote per the following: 1) Deep Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter (1 qty) The U.S.Geological Survey, Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center requires the acquisition of an Acoustic Doppler velocimeter for the high-resolution measurement of near-bottom currents on the continental slope off the west coast of the United States for studies on sediment transport processes in the deep sea. This instrument will be deployed in up to 3000m water depth and must be able to measure near-bottom currents at a single point with very high accuracy for one year or more. In addition, the instrument must meet the following salient characteristics: 1. Measure currents at a point with volume of 1cm3, up to 64hz sampling rate. 2. Resolution of velocity measurements of 1 mm/s or better 3. 16Gb or higher memory 4. Ability to log data from two analog external sensors 5.
