The United States Geological Survey (USGS) requests quotes from contractors to install the infrastructure for up to 36 seismic stations in the Northern California Region. These seismic stations will expand the Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) capability of the USGS Northern California Seismic Network (NCSN). The project scope includes the installation of the equipment vaults, DC power system (including array), grounding system, telemetry infrastructure, and drainage system that comprises a seismic station. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contractors must have a current contractors¿ license issued by the government of California at the time quotations are due to be considered for award and must use appropriately-licensed subcontractors on this project. The USGS contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract. The request for quotation (RFQ) package, including a detailed statement of work, will be available on Friday, August 27, 2021. A site visit is planned for September 1, 2021 (see details below). Prospective contractors are strongly encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a quotation.
