This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-05, effective 10 March 2021. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 541360 Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services and associated size standard $16.5 million annually apply. SPECIFICATION The U.S. Geological Survey, California Water Science Center, seeks a company that can provide an unmanned aircraft system with an L-band radiometer sensor to the study location to produce fine scale raster¿s covering the study area as described in the solicitation¿s Statement of Work. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS/PROPOSALS Quotations/Proposals shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at nlushenko@usgs.gov. Sources Sought The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to determine the availability of qualified businesses capable of providing the services of an Unmanned Aircraft System with an L-band radiometer sensor to the study location to produce fine scale raster¿s covering the study area as described in the attached Statement of Work. This sources sought announcement is not a request for quote or proposal and the Government is not committed to award of a purchase order or contract pursuant to this announcement. The information resulting from this market research is simply for planning purposes to assist the Government in determining its acquisition strategy. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this notice.
