Sources Sought (Special Notice) The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is conducting market research to determine the best strategy for solicitation preparation for providing pile driving construction services as described in the attached Draft Statement of Work. This is a request for information from interested parties for the development of a pricing structure for the work described in the attached Draft Statement of Work, i.e. per day, per location, per groups of locations, or some other structure. Additionally, USGS would like to know the estimated lead time needed for mobilization and de-mobilization coordination at each site location or groups of locations. The Draft Statement of Work attached to this special notice is to assist contractors in the development of suggested pricing structures and lead time estimates. This sources sought announcement is not a request for quote or proposal and the Government is not committed to award of a purchase order or contract pursuant to this announcement. The information resulting from this market research is simply for planning purposes to assist the Government in determining its acquisition strategy. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code - 238910 Site Preparation Contractors and associated size standard $16.5 million annually apply to this announcement. Responses to this announcement shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to nlushenko@usgs.gov and must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 23 April 2021 at 1700 Eastern Time.
