Synopsis/Solicitation Combo INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-07, effective 31 August 2020. This acquisition is This acquisition is a total small business set aside. The associated NAICS code is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors, with an associated size standard of $16.5 million annually. SPECIFICATION The U.S. Geological Survey, Research Drilling Program , requires site preparation US Forrest Service Shady Rest Camping Grounds Drill Site including cutting down and disposing of trees, digging pits, building a road/pad and digging a pit and fabricating a high strength Blow Out Preventer (BOP) vault/cellar. Please see attached document(s) for a detailed description and solicitation provisions/clauses. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS/PROPOSALS Quotations/Proposals shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at nlushenko@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 22 September 2020 at 1700 ET. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or the FedConnect web portal or FedConnect Message Center shall not be accepted or considered.
