This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-06, effective 05-06-2020. This acquisition is full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 334516, Liquid & Gas Flow, Liquid Level and Mechanical Motion Measuring Instruments, with an associated size standard of 1000 employees. SPECIFICATION The U.S. Geological Survey, Astrogeology Team, requires a profiling field spectrometer. Please see attached document(s) for a detailed description and solicitation provisions/clauses. DELIVERY REQUIREMENT Quotations/Proposals must be submitted FOB Destination shipping to Flagstaff, AZ 86001. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS/PROPOSALS Quotations/Proposals shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at dallan-loucks@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 3 June 2020 at 1500 ET.
