INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-01, effective 20 Dec 2018. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with an associated size standard of 1,000 employees. SPECIFICATION The U.S. Geological Survey, WR Branch of Regional research, requires a laser spectrometer. DELIVERY REQUIREMENT Quotations/Proposals must be submitted FOB Destination shipping to Menlo Park, CA 94025.
