1) This Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior {DOI), U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for Vacuum Leak Detector in accordance with the attached solicitatio... 1) This Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of Interior {DOI), U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for Vacuum Leak Detector in accordance with the attached solicitation. 2) The synopsis/solicitation number is 140G0224Q0089 and is being issued as a Request for Quote {RFQ). 3) The award for this requirement shall be made using the policies in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award prescribed in FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, as appropriate for this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The quote with the lowest price will be reviewed first and if that quote is found to be technically unacceptable, the next lowest quote will be reviewed and etc. To be considered technically acceptable, offeror shall provide technical brochures or specifications, complete configuration to include quantity, part numbers, and descriptions, per line item as specified in this buy. 4) This solicitation is a SET ASIDE for Small Businesses.
