This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for External Laboratory Audits in accordance with the attached synopsis/solicitation. The synopsis/solicitation reference number is 140G0223Q0112 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The policies contained in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. This is a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 541614. The small business size standard is $15.00M. All requirements for preparation, submission, and receipt of proposals contained in the solicitation shall be adhered to. Basis of award will be based upon price and other factors. Failure to submit the appropriate documentation may result in the offeror's proposal package being determined as Non-Responsive to this solicitation. Proposals are due by Monday July 24, 2023, 1700 ET to Trisha Beals, tbeals@usgs.gov. The periods of performance are estimated for this solicitation. The actual periods of performance begin on the date of award or otherwise negotiated.
